A small team of passionate, licensed sailors who know every corner of Mallorca's coastline — and love sharing it with you.
Mallorca Sails was founded by a group of lifelong sailors who grew up on the Balearic Islands. After years of watching tourists crowd onto large shared boats, we decided there had to be a better way — one that put the guest first, not the numbers.
We launched with a single sailing yacht and a simple philosophy: every trip is private, every itinerary is personal, and every guest leaves feeling like a local. More than a decade later, that philosophy hasn't changed — only our fleet has grown.
We're based in Palma de Mallorca, operating from April through October. Our home waters stretch from the southern coves of Cabrera National Park to the dramatic northern cliffs of Cap de Formentor — 550 km of coastline that we never tire of exploring.
We never share boats between groups. Your booking is always 100% exclusive to your party.
We grew up here. We know the hidden coves, the best anchorages and the places no guidebook mentions.
All skippers hold full maritime licences. All boats carry comprehensive insurance and up-to-date safety equipment.
We follow strict no-anchor policies in protected areas and carry all waste back to shore. The sea is our workplace — we protect it.
Friendly, experienced and passionate about the sea. Here are the people who'll make your trip unforgettable.
Born in Palma, Marcos has been sailing since the age of eight. He holds a full Patron de Yate licence and has logged over 40,000 nautical miles in Balearic waters. He speaks English, Spanish and Catalan.
Sofia grew up in Port d'Andratx and has been sailing competitively since her teens. She leads our guided tours and is a passionate marine biologist — her knowledge of Mallorca's underwater world is extraordinary.
Antoni trained at a Palma restaurant before joining us. He sources ingredients from local markets each morning and prepares fresh Mallorcan cuisine on board — simple, authentic, and always delicious.
All Mallorca Sails skippers hold full Spanish maritime licences (Patron de Yate or equivalent). All vessels carry comprehensive third-party maritime insurance and are equipped with:
For every guest on board, including children's sizes.
Emergency position beacon and maritime radio on every vessel.
Fully stocked first-aid kits and trained crew on every trip.
We monitor conditions 48 hours ahead and never compromise on safety.
