Read this before you pack. It covers departure points, what to bring, the sailing season, weather, cancellation policy and a few things that'll make your day even better.

  • Sunscreen — SPF 50+ (reef-safe preferred)
  • Swimwear — you'll want to swim
  • Towel (one each)
  • Sunglasses & a sun hat
  • Light jacket or fleece (evenings can be cool at sea)
  • Camera or phone in a waterproof case
  • Any prescription medication
  • Seasickness tablets if you're prone (take 1–2 hrs before)
  • A small bag — no large suitcases on board

🚫 Leave at Home

  • Hard-soled shoes (bare feet or soft deck shoes only)
  • Large hard-shell suitcases
  • Stilettos or heels (seriously — deck safety)
  • Glass bottles (we provide cups)
  • Excessive valuables (the sea is wet)

When to Visit — Mallorca Sailing Season

The best time to sail in Mallorca is June through September, when sea temperatures reach 24–27°C and winds are light and predictable. The full season runs from April to October. Mallorca enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year — making it one of Europe's most reliable sailing destinations.

We monitor weather 48 hours ahead and will proactively contact you if conditions look unsuitable. We never sail in unsafe conditions.

Seasickness Tips

🌊 If You're Prone

  • Take medication (Dramamine/Kwells) 1–2 hrs before boarding
  • Eat a light meal — don't sail on an empty or very full stomach
  • Stay on deck and look at the horizon
  • Avoid reading or looking at a screen
  • Sit at the widest point of the boat (least movement)
  • Stay hydrated with water (not alcohol)
  • Ginger sweets or Sea-Bands wristbands can help

Mallorca's western coast is generally calm June–September. Most guests who worry about seasickness have no issues on our day charters.

What should I bring on a yacht trip?

Sunscreen (SPF 50+), swimwear, towel, sunglasses, hat, light jacket, camera and any personal medication. Wear soft-soled shoes or go barefoot — no hard soles on deck.

Can children come on a yacht trip?

Yes — children of all ages are welcome. We carry children's life jackets and adapt routes for family groups. Please mention your children's ages when you enquire.

Where exactly do we meet you?

Most trips depart from Club de Mar marina in Palma de Mallorca, or from Port d'Andratx for western coast routes. When you book, we'll send you precise meeting instructions including a GPS pin.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations 48+ hours before departure: full refund. 24–48 hours: 50% refund or free reschedule. Less than 24 hours: non-refundable but reschedule available. If we cancel due to weather or mechanical issues, you receive a full refund or free reschedule.
